Aerodynamische Verbesserungen
 
Die Performance-Geometrie und der Reifenfreiraum von 34 Millimetern des Falcn sind identisch mit diesen Eigenschaften des Falcn RS, und die Diffusor-Gabelkrone sowie der universelle Umwerferhänger (UDH) bleiben erhalten. Diese Gabelkrone ermöglicht es dem Luftstrom, leichter durch die Gabelkrone zu strömen, während zusätzlich Energie hinzugefügt wird. Dies führt zu einem gleichmäßigeren Luftstrom entlang des Unterrohrs, ohne das Fahrrad zu bremsen. Gleichzeitig gibt es weniger Widerstand im Bereich hinter der Gabel und dem Steuerrohr. Der UDH, der neue Standard in der Fahrradwelt, ist mit allen modernen Schaltgruppen kompatibel und schützt vor dem Abbrechen des Umwerfers und einem Kettenabwurf. 

Geometrie
 
Die Produktentwickler von Ridley haben die Geometrie des Falcn mit einem Fokus auf Geschwindigkeit, Stabilität und Reaktionsfähigkeit entworfen. Die Länge des Steuerrohrs ist kürzer als die des Noah Fast und Helium SLX, was eine aggressivere Fahrposition ermöglicht. Das Tretlager befindet sich verhältnismäßig tiefer, da es an die Möglichkeit angepasst wurde, mit breiteren Reifen zu fahren. So behält der Fahrer ausgezeichnete Kontrolle. 

Leichtgewicht
 
Der Falcn hebt sich durch eine runde Sattelstütze hervor, im Gegensatz zur D-förmigen Sattelstütze des Falcn RS, und eine andere Karbonzusammensetzung. Das RS im Falcn RS steht für 'Racing Sport' und verwendet den Elite Series Carbon-Rahmen, während der Falcn den Essential Carbon verwendet. Dennoch wiegt der Rahmen des Falcn immer noch nur 990 Gramm. Durch die Gewichtskontrolle unter 1 Kilogramm bleibt es ein sehr wettbewerbsfähiges Fahrrad. Dieses Leichtgewicht erreicht Ridley durch die Verwendung schlanker Rohrprofile und eine Lay-up, die auf Gewichtsreduktion fokussiert ist. Das Ergebnis ist dasselbe Fahrgefühl auf einer zugänglicheren Version des Falcn RS. In Bezug auf das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis schneidet der Falcn daher sehr gut ab. Dieses Paket sollte eine offensichtliche Wahl für leistungsorientierte Ausdauersportler sein.

Aerodynamic Improvements
 
The performance geometry and 34-millimeter tire clearance of the Falcn are identical to these features on the Falcn RS, and the diffuser fork crown and universal derailleur hanger (UDH) are retained. This fork crown allows the airflow to pass more easily through it while adding extra energy. This results in smoother airflow along the down tube without slowing the bike down. At the same time, there is less resistance in the area behind the fork and head tube. The UDH, the new standard in the cycling world, is compatible with all modern drivetrains and protects against derailleur breakage and chain drops.

Geometry
 
Ridley’s product developers designed the geometry of the Falcn with a focus on speed, stability, and responsiveness. The length of the head tube is shorter than that of the Noah Fast and Helium SLX, providing a more aggressive riding position. The bottom bracket is positioned lower to accommodate the possibility of riding with wider tires. This ensures excellent control for the rider.

Lightweight
 
The Falcn stands out with a round seatpost, unlike the D-shaped seatpost of the Falcn RS, and a different carbon composition. The RS in Falcn RS stands for 'Racing Sport' and uses the Elite series carbon frame, while the Falcn uses the Essential carbon. Nevertheless, the frame of the Falcn still weighs only 990 grams. By keeping the weight under 1 kilogram, it remains a very competitive bike. Ridley achieves this lightweight by using slim tube profiles and a lay-up focused on weight reduction. The result is the same ride feel on a more accessible version of the Falcn RS. In terms of price-quality ratio, the Falcn scores very well. This package should be a no-brainer for performance-oriented endurance athletes.
